I've been tagged!!
This is my first time getting tagged!! How pathetic...but in a good way!!
By way of Jennifer:
Pronunciation Key
n. pl. id·i·o·syn·cra·sies
A structural or behavioral characteristic peculiar to an individual or group.
Write down five of your own personal idiosyncrasies.
This was hard. I'm a very eccentric person to begin with. I asked around, which probably wasn't the brightest thing to do, but they didn't help me anyway. So, here goes:
1) I read knitting patterns while...ahem...I'm in the bathroom. Some people like to read, oh, say the newspaper, or fashion magazine...I take A Gathering of Lace. So, if you ever borrow that book from me, or any other knitting related literary text, it's okay, because I always wash my hands.
2) I can make myself mad. Happens a lot when talking w/Seth. For example, we could be discussing football, that leads to the Minnesota Vikings, which then leads to some players we knew in college, which makes me think about how they had HUGE scholarships to attend school free, while I busted my ass, now they're playing football, making huge money, and they don't have to pay student loans back like me, but they're rich, and I'm poor and waiting to start my new state job, and I wonder if they even PAY taxes...UGHHH!!! See, like that.
3) I like the smell of my stinky feet. My cats do too. Not that they stink all the time, but when I wear certain sandals, that I've had FOREVER....hmm...should I have said that out loud??
4) I was an English major in college, but I can't spell for shit. I misspelled "cheese" in my first grade spelling bee, and I haven't been the same since.
5) I don't decorate my desk/office until I've been in a job for a while. Mugs don't count. And each job has different time frames. Actually, this is pretty smart..you need to pass the probation period, and see if you like the job and people enough to share pictures of cats and grandma. (Yes, I have a picture of Grandma that's framed and has come to work w/me. Everyone loves their Grandma..) I have refused to decorate my desk at my current job. Jim, you cannot see Grandma.
Then, if you wish, tag five people from your live gerbil or friendslist to do the same.
This was fun...no really. Thanks Jennifer! I knew I was weird, but damn, am I the only one?? Okay, I tag Snow, Kari, Vera, Stacie and Donna.
In other news, the corset has a few more inches on it, Madeline doesn't. I've finished the Devil-Red socks, and stated another (for sockpal). Pictures next time.

I don't think you're weird. I've been known to taking a knitting book with me to the bathroom on occasion. Not decorating your desk at work for a while makes a lot of sense.

Okay, I'll need to think about this. But I'm with Jennifer, I take knitting books into the bathroom too. Sometimes it's the only way i can read them in peace and quiet, LOL!

I'm sitting here wondering what the hell a live gerbil list is and then of course the penny dropped.
Forgive me, bad day, mind like cotton wool.
And yes, I take knitting books into the bathroom and sometimes even into the bath with me.

To be honest, I don't know what a live gerbil list is..I just copied and paste what Jennifer sent me...I guess it's the links of bloggers I have on the right?? Or is that the friends list??\
Really, ya'll, I just cut and paste....

I don't think you are weird (cos if you are, that would make me weird too!) Current reading material in my bathroom includes the Fall 05 IK and Sally Melville's Knit Stitch.

I make myself mad all the time--soooo glad to hear that it is not just me!

I thought I was the only one who read knitting patterns like novels!! I'm a fairly new lace knitter, and reading books like Barbara Walker's is just so much fun....... love your blog!

Well, this is what I get for being too busy at work to read blogs. I'll definitely post my answers tomorrow. And tag friends. Heeheehee.
